A successful fund-raising event was held in the village hall on 8th March, where we welcomed Oliver Morley, Chief Executive and Keeper, to talk about the National Archive.
Oliver gave us a fascinating insight into the role and history of the Archive, as well as providing interesting slides of some of the precious documents relating to Ewelme held in the Archive. We thank Oliver very much for coming to talk to us.
More than £1,100 was raised as a result of this well-supported event – thankyou very much to all those who attended.
